– try to charge your Seabob before the battery level drops below 10%
– for longer storage period, use transport/storage mode, to ensure better battery management and longer life span
– during storage, don’t leave the charger connected to the battery all the time. Keeping the batteries on 100% for longer periods will reduce battery capacity
– check the battery level & status at least once per month, to prevent fully discharged battery
– You should check your Seabob at least once per month and surcharge it if necessary
– ideally maintain the battery level between 40 and 60% during winter storage

– Keep your Seabob battery level in healthy range, which is near 50%
– Clean your Seabob thoroughly with fresh soapy water to remove any built-up salt or sand.
– Make sure that all contacts on the charging points are dry and clean.
– Send your Seabob to your authorised service centre for regular maintenance and check.
– Check to see if any water has leaked into the charging port.
If so, check the cause of the leak which may include: broken seal, cap was damaged or screwed with insufficient torque.
– Rinse the inside thoroughly with clean fresh water, after every use:
direct low pressure water hose to all the openings, on the bow, sides and below the Seabob to flush all salt residues.
– Ensure a steady stream of fresh water is applied directly into the trigger. While doing so press and de-press the trigger numerous times to loosen any sand, grit, debris that may affect its performance.
– Wash the body with warm soapy water and dry before storage.
– Wait for Seabob to cool down and charge it to at least 50%.
– For longer storage period, use transport/storage mode, to ensure better battery management and longer life span.
– Despite the fact that Seabob can remain in transport mode for a few months, check the batteries health & status once per month will prevent mistakes and battery failure.
– Store your Seabob in dry area, away from flammable objects and surfaces.
– You don’t need to fully charge your Seabob every month. When Seabob is turned on with the charger to check the battery health, transport mode is simply reactivated by taping the green button once. Your Seabob will re-enter storage mode within a few minutes at most.
– It is recommended to get your Seabob winterised before storage to prevent internal parts deterioration and failures.
– After long term storage, charge Seabob for 24h before usage. 24h charge will balance the battery cells that were mismatched.
*Find “Seabob Maintenance Log” in documents section to help you keep track your charging and maintenance regime.
Make a list of things that could be causing the problem and then test them out one by one to eliminate them. Once you’ve identified the source of your issue, it will be easier to find a solution.
1. Connect the charger and make sure that battery is fully charged.
2. Make sure Seabob is not in transport/storage mode.
3. Press blue button repeatedly to check response and ensure it is not the cause of a problem.
4. Displayed errors might prevent Seabob to turn on. Seabob will have to be sent in for repairs.
1.) Make sure Seabob has enough battery charge.
2.) Make sure jet channel is clear and impeller is not blocked.
3.) Make sure that you are able to increase to at least power level 1.
4.) Make sure your maximum depth limit has not been exceeded.
1.) Access owner menu and make sure that your minimum start level is at least 1.
2.) Make sure that your buttons are working correctly:
– access owner menu, to test all buttons
– connect the charger, tap on green and red button and observe for response.
3.) Access the owner menu and ensure timer is not active.
Setting timer to 00:00 will disable it
1.) Remove dirt or foreign objects from the trigger by rinsing it off with fresh water and / or blowing it out with air from a low-pressure hose.
2.) The trigger may freeze in frosty weather, causing it to stick. Place the Seabob in the water so that frozen components can thaw off.
Most common causes for moisture in the charging port are:
– seals are broken
– charging cap is deformed or broken
– charging cap was not screwed with enough torque
Charge indicator does not appear in the display and the Seabob does not switch to charge mode despite be- ing connected to the charger:
1.) Make sure you have power voltage in your outlet and charger is plugged in.
2.) Make sure charger is working.
3.) Make sure that contacts on the charging port and plug are dry, clean and corrosion free.
4.) If battery is fully discharged, charger will not be able to wake-up the Seabob.
5.) System error: Seabob encountered serious fault and needs to be sent for repairs.
1.) Make sure nothing is obstructing the impeller.
2.) Make sure that control grip is responsive and working normally.
3.) Reset the Seabob.
*See procedure in how-to section
Seabob needs to be sent for repairs.
1.) If display information are hard to see, change display brightness level in the owner menu
2.) Make sure Seabob was off for at least 60 minutes.
Push the blue button and start squeezing the trigger repeatedly for 15 seconds.
Press the green button and squeeze the trigger. If engine runs, display failed.
Charging current too high indicates equipment failure:
1.) Try with a different charger
2.) Make sure all contacts are dry and clean
3.) Seabob and charger needs to be sent for diagnostics and repair.
1.) Make sure nothing is obstructing the impeller
2.) Switch off the Seabob, carefully insert a long bar or screw driver and try to turn the impeller, to determine it is not stuck.
3.) Seabob needs to be sent for diagnostics and repair.
Water ingress error indicates that Seabob main box with electronics had water breach and needs to be sent for repairs.
1.) Seabob has 2 accumulators. If there is a high voltage difference between them it will result with error sign.
Charge Seabob for 24h to allow both accumulators to balance the voltage.
2.) Seabob needs to be sent for diagnostics and repair.
System error points to severe failure.
Seabob needs to be sent for diagnostics and repair.
